	Shakespeares Globe - 1 Viewing Its costs a penny to be a groundling although the stench is horrible. Pay six pence and you will get a high seat and cushion, only the very rich can afford this. Theatres are very different now, people go to socialize, drink and for the upperclass...to show off their wealth and to court each other.
