” 'Cause nobody wants to go it on their own
And everyone wants to know they're not alone
Somebody else that feels the same somewhere
There's gotta be somebody for me out there”

[/size][/blockquote]She smoothed the soft fabric of her mint green dress out. Normally she would be wearing pink but today she had felt like a change and her father had just sent her this gorgeous mint green dress. It had some gorgeous embroidery around the bottom and on the top of the dress. Little dark green outlines of butterflies. She had instantly fallen in love with it. She side as she checked her reflection in the mirror. Her hair was down and hung long, framing her face. She was feeling quite lonely. Her dad was always out working and since her mother’s death she had been lonely. Moving to London was meant to bring her new friends and maybe someone who would ask for her hand in marriage. Louisa didn’t just want someone because they were rich though, she wanted to fall in love but that would never happen. Not here. Her dad had already bought a few gentlemen home for a drink and to meet her. She hadn’t liked most of them. In truth she long to go back to Yorkshire, she had her horses there. They were here only friends since her mother’s death, they understood her.
The door of her room creeped open and a maid smiled at her. She smiled back. Her face became lit up as she was asked if she was ready to go to the bookshop yet. Louisa wouldn’t let her loneliness take over her normal cheery self. She had to look at the positive side. Her and her father were healthy and he was happier here then he was in Yorkshire. Yorkshire held too many ghosts for them both and she had to admit that. She stepped out of her room to where her maid stood. She was allowed to go to the bookshop alone now, seen as it wasn’t far and she liked to walk there alone without anyone hindering her. Of course she knew a maid, or someone, always followed her to keep an eye on her. Her father wouldn’t be able to live if anything happened to her.
Louisa made her way out of the big oak doors of the big house and wrapped her shawl around her tighter to protect her from the wind. She walked along the pavement at her own pace. Smiling to people as they passed her and waved, although she hadn’t been here long she did feel quite welcomed. She was lucky to live in such a nice neighbourhood. As she let herself drift off into her thoughts she didn’t realize how quickly she had arrived at the bookshop before the bell rang as she entered and bought her out of her gaze. She smiled to the man behind the counter ”Morning” she said politely to him and he returned her greeting as she disappeared down one of the aisles to look for a couple of books.
She hadn’t noticed anyone in the bookshop and was too engrossed in the books to hear anyone enter. She had picked up a old worn copy of a book and was reading the blurb to see if it would hold any interest to her. She smiled as she realized it was just what she was looking for. She set off at a brisk walk to the counter, still reading the names of the books as she walked by. It wasn’t till she bumped into the other girl and dropped her book that she noticed her. “Oh, i’m so sorry” she said. Sinking to the floor to collect her book before looking up to see a blonde girl stood in front of her.
