BEHIND THE FAIRYTALE
Disney world is famous for its rides, and even more famous for its characters. Face characters run rampant on its seven thousand acres, meeting and greeting. They stop to pose for pictures, give out hugs, and give children the foolish belief that they really are the mask they hide behind. It's like giving them the idea that Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny are real.
Well... wait a minute. What if the mascots are real? What if that face hidden behind the mask is really the mask itself? The idea even makes the most faithful laugh. Cartoon characters real? What an absurd idea.
The ones affected aren't laughing, however.
What are you supposed to do when you wake up one morning and receive a letter inviting you to Fantasia Academy? Not only that, but it explains why you may or may not have been having hostile thoughts towards your brother or your best friend. Or why you are pining after the 'bad boy' at school? Even why you've had sudden urges to break out into a song and start dancing.
The answer is unbelievable, but simple. You have the spirit of a Disney character stuck inside you. This is no laughing matter. If worse comes to worse, you may or may not end up throwing your brother into rush hour or even give the prettiest girl in school a poisoned drink. That is what Fantasia Academy is for.
Fantasia Academy is formed underneath Disney World. Walt Disney came up with it as soon as he realized that his stories were slowly coming to life. He located the affected teenagers, sent them a letter requesting their attendance at Fantasia Academy, a gifted boarding school. They were to attend the school, whether they had to be bribed or dragged there. Classes were created, the basics; english, math, science, etc. And then the 'disney' classes. Ballroom dancing, anger management, and so on. Everything to help them control the spirit inside them.
It isn't that bad of a deal, really. Except for the fact that they have to work as their Face Character during the day. Apparently to help them 'control' the spirit. Most of the antagonists consider it torture, however. It's better than killing their brother, though.
Sticking 390+ students in a secret school underneath Disney World itself? Nothing good can come out of this.
